Attributes

Custom attributes and system attributes are important for enhancing transactional data in a system.

We provide the option to set up attributes that are tailored to your business needs. There are many system attributes that you can choose from, or you can create your own custom attributes. We recommend using system attributes whenever possible, as we have added business logic around each attribute to offer more features.

Custom Attributes:

Custom attributes are fields that you define yourself, which allow you to capture specific information beyond what the system provides by default.

Create custom attributes that are relevant to your transactional requirements and assign them to a transaction type or an attribute group.

System Attributes

System attributes are predefined fields that are crucial for the system's operations. These fields are typically standardized and essential for core system operations.

System attributes are included automatically in transactional forms and processes, but some of them are disabled initially and can be enabled based on your business needs.

Setup Attributes

Custom attributes can be created to suit your specific requirements and later linked to items, payments, and transactions at a general or specific group level.

We offer a variety of attribute types to choose from while creating new custom attributes, such as text, dates, numbers, and others.

Items Attributes

Custom attributes can be added to items to provide additional product specifications such as color, size, weight, manufacturer or any other relevant details. These attributes can be made searchable, enabling users to filter and search for items based on custom criteria.

Users can display and list custom attributes alongside standard item information to provide comprehensive product details. Custom and
system attributes can be enabled widely, by item type or category.

Adjust Stock Attributes

The stock adjustment functionality allows users to modify inventory levels for items based on various events, such as discrepancies, returns, or transfers. This feature includes custom and system attributes that provide reasons for stock adjustments, such as damaged goods, expired products, or stock transfers between warehouses.

You can choose to have the attributes always displayed as a system-wide option, or you can assign them based on transaction type (Auto, Inbound, Outbound, or Transfer).

Invoice Attributes

Custom and system attributes for invoices can include payment terms, sales representatives, project codes, or any additional information your business needs. These attributes can be enabled at both the header and line level.

Status Change Attributes

The app tracks the status and lifecycle of assets within an organization, such as equipment, vehicles, or machinery.

Custom and system attributes for asset status changes might include maintenance history, warranty expiration date, depreciation value, or location.

You can always have the attributes shown as a system-wide option or assign them by status (repair, damage, in use, retired, and others).

Payment Attributes

Payment methods refer to how customers can pay for goods or services on the app.

Custom and system attributes for payment methods could include additional details related to payment processing, fees, check numbers, etc. Those attributes can be enabled widely or by payment method for greater granularity.

Attributes Security

Security permissions can control access to view or modify specific custom attributes, ensuring sensitive information remains restricted to authorized users.
