Locations

Locations can refer to physical places in your storage area or logical methods of organizing your items, such as warehouses, aisles, stands, bins, and so on.

The location feature becomes available when you enable multiple locations in your company settings. If multiple locations are disabled, the location attribute will be hidden throughout the system, making it easier for businesses that do not have to deal with managing locations.

BIN Locations

A location bin, often called a "bin," is a specific storage location within a warehouse where goods or items are stored. Bins are used to organize and manage inventory efficiently by providing a designated space for each item or group of items within the facility.

Tap the tag icon to generate a QR code label. This label is typically placed on or near each bin to provide a quick and easy way to access information about the bin and its contents via the barcode scanner.

Default Locations

The concept of default locations refers to the predetermined storage locations where incoming items are automatically assigned if a specific destination is not specified during the receiving or stocking processes.

Default locations help streamline inventory management by providing a standardized approach to organizing items when their final storage location is not explicitly designated.

Every user has a default location assigned to them on their profile.
